Request for donations for damages caused by the Taiwan typhoon in September 2025
We would like to express our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the heavy rains that occurred in eastern Taiwan on September 23, 2025, as Typhoon No. 18 approached.
The damage in the area has been severe, with 14 people killed and 84 injured (as of September 24, 2025).
In response to the damage caused by this typhoon, The Nippon Foundation is currently assessing the extent of the damage and will implement relief measures in stages.
Merpay, Inc. has been entrusted with collection operations by the Nippon Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation.
